Hope you all had a relaxing weekend!
I am a huge foodie. When I say I am a foodie, I REALLY mean it. I love (good) food so much that even when I can’t eat, I go on Instagram to look at food porn pics.
Recently, I stumbled upon this food Instagram – Lime and Cilantro, and Soe’s Burmese food pics constantly made my mouth water and stomach growl. With V-day approaching, the tiny little light bulb in my big head lit up, and I thought to myself, “How good will it be to learn cooking from him on Vday?!”
So MAGIC happened! Soe freaking drove 2 Hours to LA and taught us how to make a 4-course meal – fermented Burmese tea-leaf salad, Mohinga, Southeast Asian duck breast in a grilled eggplant wrap, and almond cardamom cookies and Ginger ice-cream. OH EM GEE!!!!! The food was so nomnomlicious. The duck was fresh, and tender. The home-made ice cream was supremely creamy and packed with ginger flavor. I thought to myself, “Is this what happiness means?”. My life was complete.
Thank you, Soe, for making our night so wonderful! I can’t wait to learn more from you.
Apologies for the lack of food pics. The food was too good, and I just couldn’t justify waiting for another second to eat. I guess you are just stuck with my Vday outfit idea.
Hope you enjoy my Vday ideas (Activity + Outfit)!
Smile and style on~
