Happy Sunday, everyone!
Fall weather has officially kicked in in Los Angeles, and I finally got a chance to wear this buttery burgundy leather jacket from Supertrash.
Since I started this blog, I have been seeking out responsible brands to buy from. The search is not easy, and the research I do behind each brand is really long. Why hasn’t the concept of Fair Trade gotten popular yet in the fashion industry?
Today, the use of Fair Trade certificates in the fashion industry is very limited. This is mostly because the manufacturing process of clothes is extremely complex. As explained in the info-graphic above, it’s difficult to align Fair Trade requirements around various textile materials, and it’s inefficient to audit and enforce Fair Trade requirements in garment factories located in countries around the globe!
I am so in love with Walt Disney Concert Hall. Despite the countless visits, its impeccable design always takes my breathe away. When I was shooting these pictures in the morning, I felt that I was dancing with sunlight! If you ever visit LA, I highly recommend checking out this place or even going to an event at the concert hall!
Thanks for reading.
Smile and style on~
